Before I tell you about Resellers Panel-Your Own Web Hosting Service see if your experiences on the
web have been anything like mine.
How many web sites visited, "free" e-books downloaded, or e-mails received
claim to tell and/or teach us
the inside secrets of making big money on the internet, have an opportunity
where we can vacation, sleep, and party all the time while our 24/7 cash
machine automatically makes us all the money we desire, or provide
us with our own store with a zillion products we can offer ?
If your anything like me, I'm tired of all the hype and misinformation
that we are often presented. Most of the "free" e-books might contain
some beneficial information but are mainly used to promote and
sell other products and services that we have to pay for.
Don't get me wrong, there are some very good e-books and web sites that
actually do provide real and useful information about starting and promoting
a web based business. Thank God for sites like
SiteSell
developed by Dr. Ken Evoy
and the
Newbie Club developed by Joe Robson. I even promote their sites on
my site because of the truthfulness and legitimate help, services, and products
that they provide. In fact as I stated on my homepage I have tried
to provide real and useful links on my site and have had to kiss a lot
of frogs (spend a great deal of time surfing and culling the net)
in order to find them.
I'm no Guru but I've now had my web site for over two years and I've come
to the conclusion that we don't need to purchase
all the Guru information available in order to build and promote
a good online business. Just as we don't need 50 doctors to tell
us what's wrong with us, we don't need 50 or more Guru's telling us how to become
rich. All we're doing is spending our hard earned cash making them rich.
What do we really need in order to be able to make a full-time living on the internet ?
The answer to this question is not as difficult as you might think.
1. Our Own Products and/or Services That Are Needed By Others
No I didn't say an online store or affiliate program where we earn a 4 or 5% commision
of purchases we referred. How many purchase have to be made
before we earn $1,000 less expenses a month . You have to have $20,000 of sales in a month
from your customers for each $1,000 that you gross. If you sell $20,000 of your own
product you gross $20,000 a month. Even if the cost of your product is
an unrealistic 90% (I wouldn't pick this particular product to begin with)
you still earned $2,000.
Am I saying that all affiliate programs
are a waste of time ? Definitely not, but they should be a secondary source of
income.
2. Self Promotion
Just like a restaurant on the corner of one your streets, one
of the biggest determining factors in it's success
is location, location, location ! If we have the best food in the world
and no one knows it we'll eventually have to close our doors.
Think of the web as a huge location made up of many streets. If people can't
find our street we too will have to shut our doors.
3. Leverage-Others Selling Our Product
Each of us only have 24 hours a day to take care of our family matters, sleep,
and run a business. I'm not a believer in MLM's
but what do they all have in common ? They all know the power of leverage.
The old saying that "many hands make light work" is an excellant
example of the power of leverage.
In a nutshell,we need to recruit others to market our product and pay them
well and provide them all the guidance
and tools they need in order for them to be successful.
Their success is also our success.
O.K. enough of my rantings.
